In 2009, Toby Luther was named the first non-family CEO for closely-held Lone Rock Resources in Roseburg. Previously, he served as the company’s chief operating officer and vice president of finance. He has been with Lone Rock since 2001.

Allyson Ford
Allyson Ford

Vice Chair/Secretary

Allyson Ford is the granddaughter of Foundation founders Kenneth W. Ford and Hallie E. Ford and a native of Douglas County, Oregon. Allyson works with the Oregon Health Authority as an advisor on public health IT projects. Allyson holds a master’s degree in business administration from Marylhurst University and a bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Stanford University. She lives in Portland and has two daughters.

Eric Forrest is the co-president of Bigfoot Beverages (with locations in Bend, Coos Bay, Newport, Roseburg and Eugene). He is also a co-founder of Fast Track Car Wash in Eugene and the president of Riversdale Ranch Properties in Roseburg.

Carrie Thompson
Carrie Thompson is the co-owner and co-operator of Thompson Timber Company in Corvallis, which owns and manages timberland throughout western Oregon. She also manages a family foundation and a family-owned private equity fund.

Andy Storment
Andy Storment has been a business investor and executive in the Pacific Northwest for more than 30 years. In addition, he has experience in the accounting and wood products industries.
Dr. Gustavo Balderas
Dr. Gustavo Balderas

Gustavo Balderas serves as the superintendent of Beaverton Public Schools. An educator for more than 30 years, he started his career in education as a high school teacher and counselor in Oregon. He grew up in a migrant farm worker family in rural eastern Oregon.

Jerry Phillips
Jerry Phillips

Jerry Phillips is the eldest grandchild of Hallie Ford and Kenneth Ford, working to carry out the founders’ legacy. He started his career at Fidelity Investments and as an entrepreneur, has successfully started and sold three printing industry-related businesses.
